MySQLi connection throwing up error 604 with strange looking syntax.

I try to add a simple query to the web page. The extension seems to work fine, and puts the code into the webpage (as far as I can see) correcty, but when I go to view the fields in the panel I get the following error...

MySQL Error#: 1064

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'b64:U0VMRUNUICogIEZST00gRVhQT19TUE9OU09SCldIRVJFIDAgPSAx' at line 1

I tried to reinstall the extension to see if that would help but it didn't. Database settings are correct, because just before this happened (on the same site) I created a page that used the server behavior to insert a record and redirect the page - that works just fine. The only thing unusual (for me) I did was to take a look through the CSS Form Builder options the extension has, but I didn't use it.

Make sure to install the latest version of the beta and then go to Site->Advanced->Remove Connection Scripts.

The extension now encodes all communications with the database for added security. It appears you either have a version of the extension where this isn't working properly, or the connection scripts you have on the server are out of date and aren't decrypting the passed SQL properly.

The encrypted SQL statement is what you are seeing in the error, but that shouldn't happen with the latest connection scripts. If you still have the error after following my advice, let me know and I can set up a screen sharing session with you to look into it further.

This happened again

Hi Ray,

This error just cropped up again, and I can;t seem to get rid of it. I'll code manually over the weekend (got deadlines of course! smiles!) but is it possible to schedule some time on Monday to have a look at this?

Many thanks!

Bill.
