Digital File Pro PNG to JPG Color Shifting

Is there a way around the below issue? I'm experiencing severe color shifting when a PNG is uploaded, resized and converted to JPG.

From WebAssist Help:

*Known issue when using JPEG format - If using the JPEG format with a fixed height and width, while specifying a fill color, you may notice a slight color difference in the resulting image.

I did a test on my localhost and didn't have any color distortion.

Are you using the latest version of databridge?

It uses the GD library in php to manipulate the images. What version do you have installed? You can check by adding code to a blank page and browsing it and finding the GD section:

php:
<?php

phpinfo
();
?>

My localhost uses:
GD Version: bundled (2.1.0 compatible)
FreeType Version: 2.5.5
libPNG Version: 1.5.18

Below is GD Library Info

GD Version: bundled (2.1.0 compatible)
FreeType Version: 2.4.9
libPNG Version: 1.2.49

I'm using DataBridge 1.2.2

You might want to see if you can get your FreeType and libPNG versions updated. That might be the issue. Here is my helper file if you want to test if that has anything to do with it.
