MYSQLi Server Behaviour

I bought the MySQLi Server Behaviour the other day. When trying to establish a database connection for dynamic MySQLi, I get a error message of 'HTTP Error Code 500 Internal Error' in Dreamweaver CC. I am using version 7.0.25 of php and IIS, and MySQL 5.7.17.

I have done everything I can think of to get it to work. I have used the DMX Zone extensions, to make a connection, with my current setup, and can get a connection to work. However I would rather use the WebAssist extension as it more closely matches how dreamweaver CS4 used to work with older versions of PHP. I also tried php 5.6.32, and got the same error message.

I don't know what else to try now, would you be able to advise what might be causing the problems or how to proceed?

It is probably an issue with the Server URL setting of your testing server in your dreamweaver site definition.

I can't see the problem. If you want to give me a US phone number where I can reach you tomorrow I'll do a quick screen sharing session to see if I can figure it out.

Do you have a skype account I can use to contact you? I can't make international calls.
