Server validation process doesn't allow selection of form variable for validation.

I've created a captcha one one page. The page submits to submit.php. I've created a validation on submit.php 'before page load' since the submit page sends an email withe form data.

During the creating using the wizards, I can choose the trigger, I can choose the server variable which is the captcha session variable, however when I click on the + sign, there is no dialogue to choose the form variable, only the screen 'Allow spaces without characters' with the checked box. The only thing I can do is hit cancel or ok. What's up with that?

You have probably chosen "non-blank" validation when you need to use "like entry" validation.
