Repeat Region

Hello,

I'm new and I just installed msqli and I'm having creating a repeating region. I followed the directions from this page http://www.webassist.com/tutorials/Getting-started-with-MySQLi-Server-Behaviors. I'm able to create a single record set which shows up on the bindings tab. However when I create a repeat region it does not show up on the bindings tab. Some script is created, but once again nothing shows up in the binding tab so I can't drag it over to the screen.

Here is the code that is created:

<?php echo($rsTodo->getColumnVal("Topic")); ?>

<?php
while(!$rsTodo->atEnd()) {
?>

<?php
$rsTodo->moveNext();
}
$rsTodo->moveFirst(); //return RS to first record
?>

The bindings tab is empty? Have you tried opening and closing the page? Does the recordset still appear in the server behaviors window? Please attach a copy of the full page so I can view it in Dreamweaver.

I have tried opening and closing the page, but that didn't work. The recordset does appear in the server behavior window. i have attached a copy.

If the recordset shows in the server behaivors then it should show in the bindings. There are no bindings for the repeat region. Just add the bindings for the recordset into the repeat region and they will be repeated. If the recordset isn't showing in the bindings then that is another issue. I'd probably need FTP access to debug that since it won't show without a working database connection.

I have attached a screenshot of my server and binding tabs.

I'm not quite sure how to proceed as I'm not sure I am following you. Am I suppose to do this:
1) Create a repeat region in servers behavior tab
2) then what should I do next, I see the recordset in bindings tab, but not the repeat region. How do I do this: "ust add the bindings for the recordset into the repeat region and they will be repeated"

Put your cursor into the repeated region where you want data to be displayed. Then go to the bindings tab, highlight the field you want displayed and click "insert" from the bottom of the bindings interface. That will insert the field value into the repeat region so that it will be repeated.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by this:

"Put your cursor into the repeated region where you want data to be displayed."

Where should I put my cursor, in the document window, bc I don't see any place where a repeated region is like in the instructions (I attached an image from the instruction of what I don't see in my screen).

Hello

Is there any response to this, as I would like to work on this project over the weekend. Thank you

I have attached what I see when I open your page.

The repeated region shows.... make sure you are in "Design" view and not "Live" view in Dreamweaver.

You can put your cursor on line 27 and maybe even type in some sample text there to help you see it and select it from design view.
