Password_Hash modification in Security Assist

Please i want to use the password_hash function in php to encrypt my passwords in the db. I edited the sha1encrpytion file in webassist folder to this (since this isn't included in the encryption option for passwords in security assist)
function WA_SHA1Encryption($msg) {return password_hash ($msg, PASSWORD_DEFAULT);}
and registration worked..but the issue now is how to use password_verify to verify with login pages, maybe update pages and forgot password....any help would be appreciated (Not a good coder, i just googled) .

The code libraries themselves would have to be updated. This is something we could do with you in a premier support ticket, but it isn't directly supported so I can't easily walk you through the necessary code changes... it would have to be done by a coder.
