Creating a button to duplicate a database record on a web page

This seems like the sort of thing that is probably possible, but not sure how to go about it. If it is a bit involved, this would be one I'd be happy to open a premium support ticket for, as it seems a high priority thing.

This would require hand coding since we don't have a server behavior that will do this directly. You can write an IF statement that checks if the button was pressed and then run a query like: INSERT INTO Table (columns) (SELECT columns FROM Table WHERE ID=?)

That will insert a row duplicated from another row. You would have to repeat that for each duplicated record. I'd probably suggest a premier support ticket but it shouldn't take too long to pull off.

Thanks Ray - that's the kind of thing I thought, but I'd probably get tied up with the syntax etc whereas it would probably be a doddle for you.

I have some other stuff to look at today, but tomorrow around this time might be good - but obviously whenever you had time really.
