One field in search / results page not working

One field in search / results page not working

I have a search page with a field that isn't working. Not sure if its because of the SQL query structure, or something stupid I've missed.

I have attached both the search page and results page below.

Its the Company field in a related table that is just returning all records rather than filtering.

Thanks for having a look.

You have your field named "agents.Company" on the search page. I think it needs to be name="Company"

That was me trying to force the issue as there is a field called Company in both the trade_users table and the agents table. (The former is almost redundant now, but haven't deleted or changed the name yet, as experience tells me it'll break something when I do. Kicking myself for not giving the field in the Agents table a different name.)

I've changed those back, but still have the same issue.

Your search comparison should have the table prefix in the column but not in the field, so I updated it to:

$WADbSearch1->addComparisonFromEdit("agents.Company","Company","AND","Includes",0);

That appears to have fixed it.

Thanks Ray - I'd been trying that, but obviously not there.
