trigger email record insert

i know...i know....i'vebeen here before but still i cant get it sorry - when my insert page (repairs_insert.php) is completed and sent, the page rightly forwards to the results page, but i ALSO want it to trigger an email with the content of the form to a fixed email address and to the client address in the form.
i added the universal mail behaviour but no email triggers. i seem to always end up being able to indert the record OR trigger the email but not both.
could someone set me right on how to do this so on submitting the repairs_insert form, the record is inserted and an email with the content triggered.
thank you soooo much as ever you wonderful chaps....

Just remove the redirect page setting in the insert and add it to the email. The problem is that you are redirecting to the success page before sending the email.
