How to update products with multiple categories on mysqli?

Hi, I would like to update products with multiple categories on mysqli so I have to update two tables on the same page . products table and productcategories table which contain this value ProductCategoryID, ProductID, CategoryID. So I Want to update the two tables at the same time. Can you please walk me to get it workng?
I will attach my php file so you can see what going on.

For the categories use two server behaivors:
1) DELETE all of the rows associated with the product being updated. That can be done with the standard delete server behavior.
2) INSERT all of the categories selected in the select list. You can use the standard insert server behavior and then manually wrap it in a loop to loop through all of the selected categories.

Sorry Ray, I did not understand. What did you meant with "For the categories use two server behaviors". What kind of server behaviors? do you meant two recordset or two inserts or two updates?

I mean you don't actually "UPDATE" you instead do it in two steps "DELETE" and then "INSERT"
