Checkout Cart Preview / Form Fields error? Warning: chdir(): No such file or directory (errno 2) in ..... \ajax_wrapper.php

Hi guys, it's been a while! I have been looking into this and I couldn't find any solution so I decided to give it a try here. Everything was working just fine but suddenly an error started happening. I can give you online access if needed. This is an online site that is still under development and the error is happening both online and in localhost. When I get to the checkout page where I am suppose to complete the billing information and get to see a non editable preview of the items on cart, as soon as I click on the Street form field I get the error that I will copy and paste below. Error doesn't show if I click on First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone and Street 2 fields. It only happens with Street, State, Country, City and Zip Code. Maybe a validation issue? Don't know. The error message is displayed where the preview cart is, so it replaces the cart with the error, as follows (see attachment for more details):

Warning: chdir(): No such file or directory (errno 2) in /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/webassist/framework/ajax_wrapper.php on line 22
Warning: require(confirm_cart.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxxxxxxxx/public_html/webassist/framework/ajax_wrapper.php on line 32

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required 'confirm_cart.php' (include_path='.:/opt/alt/php56/usr/share/pear:/opt/alt/php56/usr/share/php') in /home/xxxxxxxxxx/public_html/webassist/framework/ajax_wrapper.php on line 32

I have also uploaded a php page with the current working directory code (see private).
And I have also tried creating a complete fresh new site running the checkout wizard on a new localhost location and I had the same ajax_wrapper issue.

I can provide FTP or cPanel access for you guys. Please help if you can, thanks much!

Where is the add to cart page? I'll have to go through and reproduce the problem and I can't see a way to add items currently.

The mod rewrite to remove the .php from the page name in the url confused the script into thinking checkout was the folder name and not the page name. I updated the ajax_wrapper.php file to account for that.
