Cheyanne

Cannot find CSS Menu Writer 2 on Web Assist menu. I can find Menu Writer and Google Maps but both are greyed out.

I have Dreamweaver CC 2017 installed and wanted to install your latest DataBridge and Design Extender extensions.
First I downloaded and installed the DMXzone Extension Manager and then, having downloaded the .zxp versions of these
extensions, I duly installed them both.

However when I visit the newly installed menu item "WebAssist" two of the menu items are greyed out namely
CSS Menu Writer and "Insert Google Map" both of which I need to update one of my websites.

I was surprised to note that CSS MenuWriter 2 was absent, from the menu listing, as I have purchases a copy namely CSSMenuWriter205.mxp.

Please advise how I can install these two products on Dreamweaver CC 2017.

Thanks

Peter Woodall

Update

Having rebooted my computer bot items now appear. However, if I click on the menu area the normal box offering ways to modify the menu isn't
available to me. The pages on this web site are .php pages. Is this the reason cannot access the menu construction?

No they will still work on php pages.

To edit an existing menu you have to go to:Edit->Preferences and choose "invisible elements" and make sure "Scripts" are visible. You click on the script element to edit the menu from the properties panel.
