eCart Selling items and Subscription - Authorize.net

I have a site using eCart 4 (I know is old but I like it) and the site is offering Items and subscriptions should I have 2 different cart engines one for regular items and other for the subscriptions?

You can do that or have them both in one cart. It really depends on what user experience you want to support.

It is probably a little harder to do with combined since you have to run two transactions and break them up with code in the checkout process. Either way you will probably want to use a premier support ticket if you haven't done it before.

If you can get everything working as a single transaction first, then we can update it to a recurring transaction in the ticket.
