ecart / mysqli error undefined method

I am updating / rewriting a site which was written using mysql and an older version of ecart.

i have been updating my product detail page with add to cart behaviour and encountered the following error...

Fatal error: Call to undefined method 'cartname'_Definition::Prepare() in D:\vhosts\sitename\webassist\mysqli\rsobj.php on line 145

I deleted the ecart object and reinstalled all of the extensions to the latest versions. i then recreated the ecart object, but get the same error.

Grateful for some enlightenmemt

..actually its ok,

The cart object I want is quite complex with a bit of hand coding, - i think i tried to do too much with the wizard.

i am restarting with a very basic cart and the page loads ok, so i will go from there
