Insert login name into database field from button or checkbox etc

Hi

I'm looking for suggestions on how to achieve the following.

I have a database where several estimators go to see what leads are available to take and bid on jobs. They log into the database, scroll through the leads and if they want to claim a lead, they click the claim button and select their name.

I would like to change it so that instead of manually clicking their name from the available choices, the site simply enters their name, effectively claiming the lead (see pictures attached), simply by clicking a Claim link or button etc.

Later I would like the leads to only be shown if they have NOT been claimed, but that's a project for after this one.

If you are having them log in you should have their UserID stored in the session. You should be able to use that to update the claimed field in the database without needing them to select their name from a list. I'd just use a ClaimedBy field in the database and update it with the UserID of the logged in user.
