Hosting question

Hosting question

I just registered two new domain names and I'm pointing it to an existing website that I developed with webassist.com products. I'm getting this error for the new domain names only (the previous domain names are working fine). Is this a development issue or a host provider issue?

Is your new server using php 7? The PowerCMS product will only work with php version 6 and below.

It appears the server you are using doesn't have MySQL installed and/or activated. If it is php 6 or below it should be a simple update to the php.ini file to correct this problem.

I found the issue thanks to your support. The default setting was set to PHP 7.0. I changed it to PHP 5.6 and its working fine. Moving forward, what do I have to do so that the site will work in version PHP 7?

We will need to do an update before it will work in php7. It isn't something you would do on your own.
