The easiest solution is to use the free third party extension manager from DMXZone: https://www.dmxzone.com/go/22670/dmxzone-extension-manager-for-dreamweaver/
Ray,
are you saying that mySQLi server behaviors are NOT compatible with CC2017
No it is fully compatible. I use CC 2017. I think probably most users do. Just Adobe dropped support for the Dremaweaver Extension manager, so you have to use a third party extension manager or the command line in order to install it.
I used the DMXzone extension manager to install MySQLi Server Behaviors. Now in Dreamweaver where do I find it?
Update: I finally got it. The first installation attempt was probably messed up. So I reinstalled the extensions and rebooted. My screen doesn't quite match what's on the WebAssist video but I found the behaviors. One issue that's very annoying, I can only drag database fields to the design window, not the code window. A crossed-out cursor appears when dragging to the code window. I'm running Dreamweaver CC 2017. In most cases I can't position the field exactly where I want it in the design view, so I have to cut and paste in the code view. It works but adds a lot of extra time. Hopefully all of this is temporary and someone, WebAssist or Adobe, will come up with a more elegant solution.
And, by the way, thanks to everyone for the fast replies. I does mean a lot and is apprecieated!
You have to also install the Free Database and Server Behaviors extension from Adobe (or DMXZone offers a version). Then you can access the Server Behaviors from the Server Behaviors panel.
once you install the server behavior extension Ray suggest you need to go to window and check server behaviors to see the panel. Also once that is installed click the + button on server behaviors BUT make sure you scroll down to the webassist one and browse through that to see your extensions. It's like when they upgraded to dreamweavercc 2017 Adobe hired someone to hide all the things we were so use to in older versions.
