product variations lead to different costs

I have a customer who has been using ecart for years. But now she is many new products that have additional costs for variations. So the blue and the white dresser are the same in all respects except that the blue one costs $10 more. Do you see any way to add this functionality in ecart? She doesnt want to keep adding more products just to handle the different prices.

You should be able to add an OptionCost field to your option table and then add that with the add to cart when you add the item. This is something we can help with in a premier support ticket.

Thank you. Would you have a demo database url that I could show the client? So that she could see what it would look like? And would this necessitate upgrading ecart beyond the 5.0.3 I am currently running?
