Security issues with php database built with dataassist and ecart

Hi. I have a store build with data assist and ecart. Ive been experiencing sql insertion hacks and someone just recently hacked into my php database and grabbed all the email address of my clients. HOW DO I STOP THIS? It seems like the code generated with web assist and ecart has vulnerabilities to hackers via php. Any assistance would be helpful.

Can I see a copy of the page with the injection problem? It may be another recordset on the page with the problem, but I'd have to see the page to diagnose and figure out how to close any holes.
