Captcha Text not appearing

I'm migrating from a Windows environment to an Ubuntu VPS. The captcha on my email and registration forms displays the background image, but not the text. I've read through the forums and made sure that GD support is enabled and that the FreeType library is installed, etc., but I'm still not getting text.

You can see the contact form at http://www.johnhorejs.com/Contact/Index(WithForm20161014).php

Here is my phpinfo page showing GD up and running.

gd

GD Support enabled
GD Version bundled (2.1.0 compatible)
FreeType Support enabled
FreeType Linkage with freetype
FreeType Version 2.4.8
GIF Read Support enabled
GIF Create Support enabled
JPEG Support enabled
libJPEG Version 8
PNG Support enabled
libPNG Version 1.5.26
WBMP Support enabled
XBM Support enabled

Any help would be greatly appreciated - this is one of the last issues I have to overcome to complete the migration.

Did you upload the font files from the captcha folder? I'd need FTP access to fully debug.

resolved

That was the issue - somehow my font files didn't make it over in our migration. Thanks for the suggestion.
