Adding new discount code is causing problems

Adding new discount code is causing problems

I've already added a few discount codes to a draft site over the past few months with no issues. However, today I added one in the same way as always but when I reuploaded the three updated files in WA_eCart, it prevented the site from loading (I have a mini cart object in the header). I ran a comparison on the old and new versions of the three files. The JSON file has no changes. The WA_eCart_Definition_PHP.php file has changed has follows:

function WA_eCartDefinition($CartName, $PersistanceType, $CurrencyPrefix, $CurrencyCode, $ForceDecimalsC, $DecimalPlacesC, $CurrencyAlign, $WeightSuffix, $ForceDecimalsW, $DecimalPlacesW, $WeightAlign, $NumberDisplay, $Columns) {

to

function __construct($CartName, $PersistanceType, $CurrencyPrefix, $CurrencyCode, $ForceDecimalsC, $DecimalPlacesC, $CurrencyAlign, $WeightSuffix, $ForceDecimalsW, $DecimalPlacesW, $WeightAlign, $NumberDisplay, $Columns) {

Then in the VetProCart_PHP.php file, the new code is being added in the wrong place. I managed to fix it by manually moving the code blocks to the correct places, but do you know why it might be doing this? I've attached copies of the changed files - the new code I added is the one called "Norbrook Free Book"

The new syntax was a bug fix to prevent errors on newer versions of php that no longer recognize that old syntax... they both do the same thing.

As long as you uploaded both of the files they should be in sync and that shouldn't cause any problems. I could look into what the issue is on your site to help. Give me a call and I'll look into it with you in a screen sharing session to better understand what is going on and see if there is something we need to fix.
