I've updated and it appears to all work for me. I'm sure I'll get some bug reports that I'll address quickly, but so far I haven't had problems.

Should we uninstall before updating and reinstall after.

Also should we still use dmxzone extension manager... just want to be clear before I go ahead.

I would also like to know if we can expect any new extensions or updates in the near future?

Thank you!

You will need to reinstall all of the webassist extensions. I don't think it matters if you uninstall before or not.

I'd recommend the DMXZone extension manager. That is what I used.

We are hoping to get out a version of DataBridge to support MySQLi soon.

I make simply update from creative cloud desktop app without reinstall nothing.
All work well and all previous setting are syncronized in new dw.
Also all webassist app working weel,
need only wait for automatic file download from web assist wizard and insert the activation code.
thank all for reply and Ray for the best support

I've had a few odd bugs with the new CC 2017 update, but none seem related to webassist extensions. I've had php code mysteriously removed from pages and I have a script file that uses < and it is getting converted to < automatically when I open the page and that breaks the script. When I create pages or save as the site tree doesn't update to reflect the new page and there is no refresh button, just a sync button.

I'll keep using it, but I hope there is an update soon. This seems half baked still.

Hi Ray - hope you can help!

Upgrade on desktop worked fine, reinstalled the deprecated Server Behaviours, reinstalled WA products, everything hunky dory!

Upgrade on laptop OK, WA extensions installed BUT I can't get the deprecated Server Behaviours, so, in effect, I can't use the WA products!

I've tried downloading the zxp file and installing it via the DMXZone extension manager, but no joy. It doesn't appear automatically as the Adobe website says it will.

Not your problem - but any help much appreciated.
Cheers
Chris

Please ignore previous! I used the version that's available from dmxzone and now have it working.
