Changes made in Data Model sometimes don't take all the time - maybe the the .xml file created/updated gets corrupt?

I've had to delete connectionname.xml data model file a few times and recreate it. I'm on Windows 10, use DW CC and XAMPP. Problems seems to happen when I: 1) use an extended monitor to work on the model, 2) move tables around 3) create MySQLi recordsets 4) make changes to the model. Can you suggest what is going on? Are there any known bugs? When it works it is great. But I am spending a lot of time recreating things. Also,. how are table-table connections deleted in Data Model? I deleted the table with the connection to be removed, then put it back in, seemed to be the only way to do it

You can grab connections and drag them away to remove them... but the handle can be hard to grab sometimes.

I've not experienced the issue you are reporting. If I could reproduce it, I could look into it further.

If it happens again maybe I could get your site file and reproduce it on my end to debug what is going on. What OS and Dreamweaver version are you using? I could also use a screen sharing session with you once you have the problem to debug it directly.

I use DW 2015.11 Release 7851 Build and PHP 5.6.3 on XAMPP in Windows 10.

Sure, let's do screen share session. Just let me know when.

This xml file doesn't seem corrupted. Is this for a remote database connection? Could you provide FTP access so I can connect to the server and reproduce the problem on my side? That would allow me to fully debug.

No, not on a remote database connection. Let me look at allowing FTP access and I'll get back to you - may be as late as next week. In the meanwhile I'll still be working on datamodels on my main screen (this seems to work without creating any problems) ... working on datamodels in an extended screen, or having the datamodel window straddle more than 1 screen, or moving the datamodel window during an update, all seem to cause problems.
