variable help

Hey Ray

I'm trying to create a recordset that filters by its column 'MessageUserID' and compare it against another recordsets column 'UserID'

This is it so far and it just isnt returning any records let alone ones that match MessageUserID against UserID

$UserMessages = new WA_MySQLi_RS("UserMessages",$DBConnection,0);
$UserMessages->setQuery("SELECT * FROM messages WHERE MessageUserID = ? ORDER BY MessageDate ASC");
$UserMessages->bindParam("i", "".($SecurityAssistpcms2_users['UserID']) ."", "-1"); //colname
$UserMessages->execute();
?>

the recordset that its using to compare against is

<?php
$ParamUserID_SecurityAssistpcms2_users = "-1";
if (isset($_SESSION["SecurityAssist_UserID"])) {
$ParamUserID_SecurityAssistpcms2_users = $_SESSION["SecurityAssist_UserID"];
}
mysql_select_db($database_PowerCMSConnection, $PowerCMSConnection);
$query_SecurityAssistpcms2_users = sprintf("SELECT * FROM pcms2_users WHERE UserID = %s", GetSQLValueString($ParamUserID_SecurityAssistpcms2_users, "int"));
$SecurityAssistpcms2_users = mysql_query($query_SecurityAssistpcms2_users, $PowerCMSConnection) or die(mysql_error());
$row_SecurityAssistpcms2_users = mysql_fetch_assoc($SecurityAssistpcms2_users);
$totalRows_SecurityAssistpcms2_users = mysql_num_rows($SecurityAssistpcms2_users);?>

Thanks in advance

It would be:

$row_SecurityAssistpcms2_users['UserID']

it looks like you forgot the $row_ in front of the recordset reference.
