Universal email and temp file not deleted

Hi all,
I'm using the Universal Email server behaviour and I noticed that on the root of my site there are files named "index_WAUE_HTML_WA_Universal_Email_1.php", "index_WAUE_HTML_WA_Universal_Email_2.php"...
Can I safely delete them or how to be sure that email editing has taken place succesfully?
TIA
tony

Do a site wide search to make sure no pages reference them and then you can safely delete them.
