You probably just need to use a third party extension manager. Try using: http://www.dmxzone.com/go/22670/dmxzone-extension-manager-for-dreamweaver/

Sorry Ray but that just mucked up Dreamweaver as the version was obviously not compatible

What version are you using?

Dreamweaver is the Macromedia 8.0 version. I first tried Free Tools version: 1.13 Released: July 7, 2015 - this gave me an error trying to install saying DW Version 9 was needed. Then I hit the button for Dreamweaver CC Users freetools113.zxp which partially got installed using the DMXZONE extension. There is now a webassist entry in the menus but it does not function.

There should be a .mxp version that will install in earlier versions of dreamweaver and a .zxp version for more recent versions. I'd stick with the more recent one.

Once you install with the extension manager, you will need to open dreamweaver and open any page. That will initiate the second half of the installation process. At the end of that you will need to restart dreamweaver one more time and the menu access points should start working.

Thanks for your help so far Ray - I appreciate it. I tried the zxp version and got the errors in this attached Word file. The "install" screen stayed the way you see it for 15 minutes before I closed it. I was able to see Paypal menu items in the DW menus but when I clicked them nothing happened

Do you have a more recent version of dreamweaver to use? Our extensions are only supported on CS3+

Well that would have been nice to know at the beginning of this thread so I didn't have to run these other ideas. How do I get it out of DW and it's menus now?

You can uninstall from the extension manager.
