Framework Builder problem in Dreamweaver 2017 Beta build 9122

Just tested Framework Builder in the Beta version. Can only add content to the child page in Design view, hence not in Code view.

To test, go to https://www.adobeprerelease.com/beta/9EB451B5-D2E8-46E5-AFA2-78C85442FFA2. Using the latest DMXZone Extension Manager v 1.1.2, you will be able to install the extension

This could be a bug in their beta that they will account for before release. Too many times I've done a bunch of work based on a beta and had it change the week before making my efforts wasted for me to worry too much about it now. Maybe report it to them that it is working differently and see if it is something they plan on addressing.

I'll try to find some time to install and look at it soon, but I don't want to get too excited about issues in their first beta.

Did this help? Tips are appreciated...

Not sure what happened to my previous reply which was quite lengthy. It has disappeared into thin air and I do not have the time to rewrite the whole essay.

My reply came down to the fact that without the intervention of Framework Builder, there is no problem with the Dreamweaver Template system. The moment I create a Theme and create a page using the Theme, I cannot add content into the child page using Code view.

DMXZone also have problems and they have been actively seeking a solution in the Prerelease Forum. Because of your absence in the Forum, I thought I would warn you. The problem only surfaced because I tested Framework builder where other testers have not.

Yes, this is their first PUBLICLY released beta, but work behind the curtain has been going on for months. Please do not allow this problem to carry on as per the database problem.
