PayPal emails say upgrade shop´s SSL Certificate SHA-256, and make a TLS 1 2 HTTP/1 1 upgrade

I have earlier bought SSL-certificates from the WebAssist shop. According to the PayPal emails, these are of the old type: SHA-1 and G2 Root Certificates. They claim I should upgrade to SHA-256, and a G5 Root Certificate. I have not been able to verify if the emails are actual messages from PayPal. A computer wizard tells me they are not. What´s your take on this?

What is the URL? You choose the type when you fill out the form after purchasing the SSL certificate. I can look at your site to confirm, but it won't effect your site working with the methods we use to communicate with paypal.
