Cart Stops Checkout using PayPal Pro

I have set up a site using the latest version of eCart. Seems to set up okay, and if the user selects the PayPal express option, they can check out. If they select to run the transaction on our site using PayPal Payments Pro, however, the checkout page won't complete the checkout. You press continue, a small progress bar appears and then quickly disappears and you're back to the checkout page. Will not proceed beyond the checkout page.

I'll need a url to reproduce the problem and FTP access to debug in order to determine what is going wrong.

That FTP information doesn't seem to work for me. Please test it and let me know if there might be additional configuration settings I'll need.

Your confirm_cart.php page was somehow corrupted. I re-ran the wizard and uploaded that page and the checkout appears to be fixed.

progress, but still not completing checkout

1. That seems to have worked, but I had run the cart wizard several times to try and fix this. What if I need to update the cart wizard again?

2. I can now put credit card info in, but the sale still won't process. I get the message:

Transaction Not Completed
We're sorry
Your transaction could not be completed.

I've tried several credit cards, so it doesn't seem to be on the payment end. I've set the prices to a couple of cents for testing.

In the body of the checkout failure page add this:

<?php
var_dump($_SESSION);
?>

That will give you more information including the reason for failure.

Did you upgrade your paypal account to allow direct credit card transactions? That is usually the issue. You need to sign up for this and there is a monthly charge.
