Passing recordset details

I have a Results and a Detail page.
When the details are loaded
I want to pass these details to another page (Enquiry) which will collect these detail plus other information entered by the user.
I have done this before but cant remember how!
Can someone please remind me how this is carried out?
Many thanks
John

You usually pass the detail ID in the url to the next page... just like you did from the results to the detail page in the first place.

Thanks Ray,
The results and details pages are easy because of your wonderful software, but I dont quite see how to get the detail page to pass the ID
The record set for the third page ID (in my case RecNo) = URL Parameter = RecNo
Seems like I need something else in the detail page to pass on.
Not sure what.
Regards

John

You can use the variable you passed to begin with, or the value from the recordset. Just use the same syntax as the link from the results page and just update the recordset name.

Thanks Ray
I have managed to get the enquiry form opening with correct details by copying the code from the link in the Results page with a change of destination page name to the Details page and it seems to work OK.

On the Detail page the link is the record ID can you say how I can change that to a button please?
Regards
John

You can replace the text with a <button> tag or <img> and it should work the same way.
