Cannot edit "InstanceBeginEditable name="EditRegion1"

As above I Cannot edit "InstanceBeginEditable name="EditRegion1" in design mode
Looking at the code it is colored for editing but in the design mode I get a small No Entry sign.

When Creating the page with the template I link EditRegion1 and Head without any problems

I can also use the template with other Data Asssist pages with no problems.

I wonder if you can see where the mistake may be.

I am attaching the code in a zip file,

Many thanks for any help
John

As a further trial I created another set of database results and detail pages.

The detail pages allow me to update the details but the results pages cannot be updated. Strange>

It lets me edit that region... and I don't see any issues, so I'm not sure why you aren't able to.

Thanks Ray
Chances are that I may not need to edit the WA code (In Design View) but if I do then I would need to Detach the Page from the Template.

When I do this the template is still visible in Design View and I wonder if I need to remove the template images and text from the page before applying the template to the page again, once any modifications to the WA part are finished.
Thanks for the help.
Regards

John

Yes, you would have to remove the template elements before re-applying the template.

If you used framework builder and plugins or themes you wouldn't have those issues.

Thanks Ray Interesting.

Would the resultant pages be responsive/mobile friendly?

The end result is the same. So if it is now it would be then. Framework builder is an improvement on templates and includes that eliminates some of the hassle and limitations but creates the same end result.
