How can I switch from PayPal Payments to PayFlow Pro without running wizard?

How can I switch from PayPal Payments to PayFlow Pro without running wizard?

I recently ran into trouble processing Reference Transactions. It seems that, even though I have had a Payflow Pro account for 6 months, I was processing everything through PayPal Payments Pro (The regular PayPal.com side). Looking back into the code, I set up my wizard using PayPal Payments and not PayFlow Pro. Since getting the site going, we have done a lot of custom work to the site to get all of the bugs out and I don't want to re-run the wizard. There seem to be places for my Payflow_Partner, Vendor, User, and Password in gateways.php. I've entered my info there but the site still prefers the PayPal Payments option. Help?

OK I tried to re-run the wizard on a backup of the site. After setting everything for Payflow Pro, and hitting "Finish," I get a Dreamweaver (CS6) error stating "SQL type not recognized: 'undefined'" This message freezes the program. I had to shut the computer down and re-start to get things going again.

If you attach a copy of your confirm.php and pp_confirm.php page I can advise you on the lines to update.

The error you get on checkout implies an issue connecting to your database... but rather than debug that, let's try updating the pages manually.

Have you enabled express checkout in your paypal manager? We may need to debug this in a screen sharing session at this point.

If you are getting an error page you can add a var_dump($_SESSION); to show the communication with paypal with any errors. That would be helpful in determining what is going wrong and where.

I'm not getting any errors using the PayPal option. The PP window comes up for customer info like normal. I enter it and am redirected to the cart, which is now empty. No transaction takes place though and no receipts or redirects to the success page take place. I looked in my Manager account and PayPal Express Checkout shows Live. You can reach me at 406-465-6159 if you need to talk and/or share my screen. Thanks

Since you are now testing on localhost, you will have to go in and update the url references to the live site on your confirm.php page to point to localhost as well.
