Password Validations

In setting up my membership and DB admin pages I have two questions.

1) In Security Assist there are no fields for setting up password validation. These fields are available for the password field in Data Assist when doing the admin pages. Why are they not available in both instances?

2) In the DB admin page for updating a record the password field is required and I don't find anywhere to turn that off. The problem being that the company admin who might be updating a record will not have the memeber's password so will be unable to update the record.

The password field is automatically required because it is necessary for login.

You can adjust the validation on the pages manually after application if it doesn't fit your needs.

To make it not required on the update page, just remove the required attribute from the <input> tag itself and update the Server Validations server behavior to remove the password validation that is there.

Then you will want make sure it uses the existing password if the field is left blank. If you attach a copy of your page I can give you a code sample of how to do it.
