No Emails Are Coming Through

I had a sale on Friday, but never got an email notification from CafeCommerce, I only realized it because of the email from Paypal. So I ran another sale meself through on the site (not a test sale, but an actual sale) and discovered that NO emails are getting sent out, no sale notifications for either myself or the buyer, no emails letting them know their item has shipped, I'm not even getting notifications if someone uses the contact form. In the past all of these have worked just fine. Please help.

What is your store URL? I'll take a look and see why they aren't sending properly.

I just tested it and I got the email immediately.

I'm thinking it might be because you are using a PartsbyNC.com email address and the email server might be recognizing that it is in charge of those email addresses and that it didn't send the emails and is therefor identifying them as SPAM and not letting them come through.

A solution might be to use a different domain as the FROM address so that your email server won't improperly block the emails. The good news is that it appears your customers would have been getting receipts and the emails are getting sent properly. It is a receiving issue on your email server most likely because of spam settings. You may be able to investigate and get this fixed with your email service provider.... are you using valid FROM email addresses? It might help if you actually register the email addresses you are using.

The web service I use does not have a spam filter so everything should come though. And when I put the sale through myself I used a gmail address and still didn't get any order confirmation or shipping confirmation emails on that account either.

Google does have very strict spam filters. Since it works when I enter my email address, I feel this is almost definitely an issue with receiving and not sending... but I can debug it with you directly in a screen sharing session.

I just changed the email address where my notifications are getting sent to and everything seems to be working again. Thank you again for your help.
