Insert Form question

Insert Form question

Hello,

In the old server behaviors the Insert Wizard created the form header: action=<?php echo $editFormAction; ?>"

With Webassist, there is no wizard to do such. I am looking for some same code to understand what the 'action' should be. Currently nothing is happening when I attempt to add as there is no action associated with it.

Thanks,
R

The action can often be left blank. It will default to the current page you are browsing. It is the page that the form submits to, so wherever you have code that reacts to the form submission.

I am getting no submission on my form. The page just refreshes. I am not sure why the webassist interface does not complete the insert action. Does webassist UI not do this? Is this the same for update as well? Would you be able to supply some sample code to assist me in this hurdle? The current server behaviors that come with DW do these actions without issue.

Could you please point me int the correct direction for me through this?

If you attach a copy of the page you are working on I can take a look to see if I can spot the problem.
