Trying to do a repeat region with multiple update on a MySQLi page

Hi

I'm converting a page from using MySQL to MySQLi

Most things going OK (upload image, add record) but I can't get the repeat region with multiple update to work; I know the repeat region behaviour is different with MySQLi and I might be ale to cobble something together to show the repeats - but will the multiple insert work, or do I just need to wait until the Data Assist extension is updated for MySQLi?

Thnks
Chris

You would either have to wait or do some hand coding. The hand coding isn't too difficult. I usually would add a repeated hidden form element with the ID's of the records in the results and then append the ids to the names of the form elements. Then I can loop through the hidden field and reference fields based on the passed ID.

This is something I could show you how to do in a premier support ticket if you don't want to wait for the data bridge update.

Thanks Ray

As I say, I have it working on the 'old' method, so I guess I'll have to wait!

Any news of an approximate release date?

Cheers

Unfortunately no release date, but clearly large demand, so we have lots of motivation to get it done.
