eCart session timeout

hi guys

I have a website running eCart 6. My server session timeout is set to 60 mins.

I've just had a client say that the cart cleared during their visit to the site They had been adding things to the cart etc over a 2 1/2 hour period.

Is there any reason why the session would clear if they were still using the site ?

No reason unless:
1) the server crashed and restarted
2) maybe you had a link that took you from the version to the version (with and without www function as separate sites with separate carts)
3) he stayed idle on a page for 60 minutes
