Dynamic Dropdowns , wich is the best way to populate a list in a update page ?

By example the user need to edit values for a info captured previusly and neeed update the register,

if i use list populated when the page is load the seleccion is show for the parent option menu/list but the child is not populate, only after the parent menu/list change the selection. Any advice? best regards

Apply the "filter and populate list" to the sub-list using the body onload event and it will be populated as well. Then use the set selection in list server behavior after in the same body onload event to set the correct selection in the child list once populated.
