download file behaviour not working

I have applied a download behaviour to the following form:

But for not the first time I can not get this to work. Once I click the submit form I just get a screen similar to the screen shot attached. Its possible it might be because of the session value and the recordset ( sql statement ) but this is something I struggle to understand.

I have attached this page ( enquiry-details.php ) and the page that has the links with url parameters ( enquiries-list.php ) that determine the content of the enquiry-details.php page. This page will eventually have numerous download behaviours but I'm only testing the 'files_e' form currently.

Do you have a url where I can view the problem? I'd like to see if the hidden file location field is being filled in correctly and if the paths all look right on the live page.

OK so i've tried this again this morning ( monday uk time ) and now when the download button is clicked, it attempts to download the file but gets stuck in download. the files I am testing with are all sound jpegs.

The issue now seems to be a blank line of code, which will corrupt downloads in php.... looks like line 55 might be it.

Whats wrong with line 55? what should it be?

It may have changed since your last attachment.. . but in the details page attachment above it is a blank line. Blank lines in between code chunks in php cause problems. It should be deleted.

I don't know wether to laugh or cry. After all the headaches this has caused it was a space in my code!
