paypal express checkout error

got this error from checkout_failure.php where i set up to send me an email with this mail body
$MailBody = $MailBody . "<p><b>Error Information:</b> ";
$MailBody = $MailBody . (PP_ECO_Process_Result("Full Response"));
$MailBody = $MailBody . "</p>\r\n";
$MailBody = $MailBody . "<p>";
$MailBody = $MailBody . (PP_ECO_Auth_Result("Full Response"));

The error that i received
SOAP-ENV:ClientXML syntax error

I saw the thread about decimal places and using number_format, but I have had many transactions succeed and this one person is the only failure so I don't think the decimal places is the problem, but i'm not sure.

View source on that page before copy and paste. It has a lot more details that way that I can use to figure out what is going on.

(then post it in the private area since it will contain your api credentials)

Ray,

I am not sure which page you are talking about copying the source? checkout_failure.php, confirm.php or pp_confirm.php?

The checkout failure page that has the debug information.

Sorry
here is my code for the checkout_failure.php; I can't get the page source for the actual failure because it was done by a customer.

This doesn't help. I need to see the error code returned to the page by paypal, not the source of the code from Dreamweaver.

The key error is:
SOAP-ENV:ClientXML syntax error

This usually means you have illegal characters in your product name. What product were they trying to purchase? I'd try adding the same items to the cart they did and then you can probably reproduce the error.

The key to fixing any problem is always to reproduce it. If you can't reproduce the problem, then there is no way to ever tell if what you do actually solved the problem at all.

I have the page send me an email with this information
Error Information:
(PP_ECO_Process_Result("Full Response"));
(PP_ECO_Auth_Result("Full Response"));

Should I add all of the Local Checkout information to the email?

Please forward that email to me... that is what I want to view source on.

Ray,

I forwarded two emails; the customer tried twice and failed twice
I included the code from my email message page.
