Phone not being passed to orders table

The OrderPhone field is not being passing into the Orders table in the mySQL database. Which file(s) handle that?

You have to update your paypal settings to return the phone number with the order. Paypal will not return that value by default, but can be configured to return it in your seller settings.

OK. I couldn't find how to do that anywhere in my PayPal settings. I called Paypal and got a senior tech on the line and he said it could not be done on their end. I know we configured the pp_confirm file to kick back the OrderShipMethod - which did not require any additional changes at PayPal. How is the OrderPhone info different?

Here is an article on shopify that walks you through changing the setting on paypal. That paypal tech didn't know what he was talking about.

Thanks Ray. This article was indeed helpful in getting me to the proper settings in PayPal to collect a phone number. However, it's still not being passed back to our database.

I'm also a bit confused as to why the shipping info form on our Checkout page collects (and requires) both phone number and e-mail address - yet those fields are not passed to PayPal with the rest of the address info. Thus, the customer has to enter that info twice.

We also have a custom field (OrderShipMethod - which I mentioned earlier) that is being passed to PayPal and back to our database with no settings adjusted at all at Paypal.

Sorry for my ignorance in all this, but the better I can understand the process, the easier it will be for me to troubleshoot or customize in the future.
