Radio Group Search Display Yes instead of 1

I have created a form with DataAssist that has several radio group buttons. I can only get them to populate in the dB as 1 (for Yes), 0 (for No), and 2 (for n/a). I would like to either a) change the insert into to the dB as text, or b) change the results on the results page when searching as text (change 1 to Yes, 0 to No, 2 to n/a). I tried changing the value="1" to value="Yes", and changed mySql to varchar, but that didn't work. Probably a very basic question, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to just change the display on the results page using an if statement:

<?php
if ($row_recordsetName['columnName'] == 1) echo("yes");
if ($row_recordsetName['columnName'] == 1) echo("no");
if ($row_recordsetName['columnName'] == 1) echo("n/a");
?>

Ray, That worked perfectly! Thank you for the quick response...and sorry I couldn't send you something more challenging.
