Numbers instead of alphabets for captcha validation images / Google reCaptcha 2014

Hi,

Two questions;

1. I need to have only numbers for captcha validation images as my client is complaining that typing to get validated is pain (frustrated with auto-correction) on smartphone. I went into "wavt_captchasecurityimages.php", then I figured and I god rid of all the alphabets;

$useChars = '123456789';

It doesn't show alphabets anymore, but a square text appears with numbers.
(Image attached.)

How can I get rid of this?

2. Is it possible to implement Google's reCaptcha (one that came in 2014 that you only need to click to "I'm not robot") to existing form build with Form builder?

I'm not sure what that square text is. It should only be using the characters from your list.

You can use recaptcha with form builder, just follow the recaptcha documentation on adding it to your form.

What do you mean by "just follow the recaptcha documentation on adding it to your form" ?
I searched through for the recaptcha on WA site but nothing hits.

Could you let me know where to go to where to look?

Thank you

I mean to follow the advice here: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/index.html

There is no difference between adding recaptcha to a webassist form or any other form.

Ok great. I'll have a look and try if I can do it.

Thank you.

If you do want to continue using ours I'd be happy to look into why that box is showing up and fix that problem so that it only shows numbers. I'd just need ftp access to debug it.

Actually I see I have ftp information from your other post... however I can't seem to reproduce the issue. I've refreshed the page several dozen times and haven't seen the box.

Thank you Ray, that's sweet of you!
(Now I notice you even went back and tested again?)

For the time being I'll use captcha :-)
I think I'll need to practice/test the goole reCaptcha anyway till I make it work so it's not going to happen soon.

Also this morning I started my iMac and edit backup-ed php file and uploaded again, and now the square thing isn't showing up. I'll keep an eye on it, and I'll come back when that happens again.
