How to change a default validation error message

Hi,

I am building a contact form with DataBridge1.2.3.
Form elements have the validation, and I need to know how to change the default error message that appears after pressing "Submit" (see the attached image.)

The error texts appear in Japanese at the moment, I'd like to delete this, and only show an unique message I specify.
How can I do this?

Thank you for your help,
Rika

Do you have a URL where I can view the problem. I think the actual message is in the title attribute of the form element "please enter your name". The Japanese part is controlled by your browser default language settings, but you should be getting a custom error popup where you have more control. I could look into why that isn't working if I could browse the page myself.

Hi Ray,

This is the test page for the contact form.

It looks like you have some doubled and even tripled up code on the page.

Replace this:

<script src="webassist/forms/wa_servervalidation.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="webassist/jq_validation/jquery.h5validate.js"></script>
<script>
var SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Default_Opts = {
focusout: true,
focusin: false,
change: false,
keyup: false,
popupClass: "Bloom",
pointedAt: "left",
fieldOffset: 10,
fieldMargin: 2,
position: "left",
direction: "left",
border: 1,
offset: 25,
closeText: "✖",
percentWidth: 100,
orientation: "bottom"
};
function SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Default_Validate() {
$("#SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Default").h5Validate(SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Default_Opts);
}
$(document).ready(function () {
SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Default_Validate()
ConvertServerErrors(SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Default_Opts);
});
</script>
<script src="webassist/forms/wa_servervalidation.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script>
var SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Default_Opts = {
focusout: true,
focusin: false,
change: false,
keyup: false,
popupClass: "Bloom",
pointedAt: "left",
fieldOffset: 10,
fieldMargin: 2,
position: "left",
direction: "left",
border: 1,
offset: 25,
closeText: "✖",
percentWidth: 100,
orientation: "bottom"
};
function SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Default_Validate() {
$("#SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Default").h5Validate(SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Default_Opts);
}
$(document).ready(function () {
SimpleContact_NewFromBlank_Default_Validate()
