Insert Multiple Records from Repeat Region

Insert Multiple Records from Repeat Region

Is there a way to insert multiple rows into a table from a repeat region in a form (similar to the data-assist multiple record inserts) using the MySQLi extension?

php:
<?php

while(!$attendance->atEnd()) {

?>
                                    <tr id="<?php echo($attendance->getColumnVal("person")); ?>">
                                        <td align="center"><input name="present" type="checkbox" value="1" <?php echo($attendance->getColumnVal("present") ? "checked" ""); ?>/></td>
                                        <td><input type="hidden" name="person" value="<?php echo($attendance->getColumnVal("person")); ?>"><?php echo($attendance->getColumnVal("first_name")); ?> <?php echo($attendance->getColumnVal("last_name")); ?></td>
                                        <td>
                                            <select name="status">
                                                <option value="">Select One</option>
                                                <?php

while(!$status_menu->atEnd()) {

?>
                                                    <option value="<?php echo($status_menu->getColumnVal("person_status_id")); ?><?php echo($attendance->getColumnVal("status") == $status_menu->getColumnVal("person_status_id") ? "selected" ""); ?>
><?php echo($status_menu->getColumnVal("person_status_name")); ?></option>
                                                <?php
                                                  $status_menu
->moveNext();
                                                }

$status_menu->moveFirst(); //return RS to first record

?>
                                            </select>
                                        </td>
                                        <td><input type="checkbox" name="remove"><label for="remove">Remove future list</label></td>
                                    </tr>
                                <?php
                                  $attendance
->moveNext();
                                }

$attendance->moveFirst(); //return RS to first record

?>

Unfortunately there is not. The MySQLi extension only covers the functionality Dreamweaver had for database interactions. The added functionality from DataBridge like multiple inserts, advanced search, and manage relational table won't be available until we update DataBridge and add them.

This is something we could help with in a premier support ticket if you need it now, otherwise you could do this part with MySQL for now and update it when the DataBridge update is available.

I had a feeling you were going to say that, so I started rebuilding the repeating insert section with data assist . Unfortunately it still isn't working for me. I'll post a thread on the data assist forum about it.
