Jason

insert multiple option values into different columns (explode?)

I need to insert 2 values from a singe option into separate columns. How can I do this and not disable the gui on the plugin?

html:
<select name="dc" id="dc">
<option value="">Select One</option>
<?php while(!$dc_options->atEnd()) { ?>
<option value="<?php echo($dc_options->getColumnVal("staff_id")); ?>,<?php echo($dc_options->getColumnVal("dow_id")); ?>">
<?php echo($dc_options->getColumnVal("first_name")); ?> <?php echo($dc_options->getColumnVal("last_name")); ?>'s - <?php echo($dc_options->getColumnVal("dow_name")); ?></option>
<?php $dc_options->moveNext(); } $dc_options->moveFirst(); //return RS to first record ?>
</select>

php:
$InsertQuery->bindColumn("dc", "i", "".((isset($_POST["staff_id"]))?$_POST["staff_id"]:"")  ."", "WA_DEFAULT");

  $InsertQuery->bindColumn("smallgroup_day", "i", "".((isset($_POST["dow"]))?$_POST["dow"]:"")  ."", "WA_DEFAULT");

I'd add code above the insert code to explode into the two variables like:

<?php
if (isset($_POST['dc'])) {
$valuesExploded = explode(",",$_POST['dc']);
$_POST["staff_id"] = $valuesExploded[0];
$_POST["dow"] = $valuesExploded[1];
}
?>

Then the code as you have it should just work.
