Just pruchased Databridge. Running Dreamweaver CC 2015. Downloaded the Databridge for DW CC. Adobe's extension manager will not install Dateabridge and displays an error that I must be running Dreamweaver 9 or higher.

Trying to download and install DataBridge. The ZXP entension meant I needed to first install Adobe's Extension Manager. Did that. Used it to try to open and install the WADataBridge123.zxp file. But received the attached error message. I'm using Dreamweaver CC 2015.

That means the extension manager isn't recognizing your Dreamweaver installation.

if extension manager did not show dw cc 2015, just delete ExMan.db. location is:
mac:
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Extension Manager CC/Configuration/DB/
win:
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Extenson Manager CC\Configuration\DB\

Other users have reported more success using the DWMXZone extension manager: http://www.dmxzone.com/go/22670/dmxzone-extension-manager-for-dreamweaver/

If all else fails you can install the extension command line and not use an extension manager:

Install an extension from the command line:

Navigate to the Extension Manager application folder.
(Windows) Enter the following command, specifying your own attribute value:
(ZXP format): ExManCmd.exe /install "c:\myfile.zxp"
(Macintosh) Enter the following command, specifying your own attribute value:
(ZXP format): ./ExManCmd --install "/myfolder/mysubfolder/myfile.zxp"
To specify a locale, add the locale command and specify the lang attribute before the install command, as follows:
ExManCmd.exe /locale "en_US" /install "c:\myfile.zxp"
Test the extension to make sure that everything works as intended

Databridge extension hanging in DW CC 2015

Hey all,
I was able to install the Databridge extension via DWMXZone extension manager. It says it's installed at least. However, WebAssist is causing Dreamweaver to hang. When I opened a php document, databridge downloaded and installed just like in DW CC 2014. However, when I attempted to use security assist, I got blank pop-up windows in DW and an error message (screenshot attached)... and then nothing. I had to force quit DW. I tried some other options under the WebAssist menu as well. I can only get blank pop-ups (screenshot attached). No content.

It looks like you installed an older version not compatible with CC 2015. Completely remove the extension from extension manager and download and install the latest version from our web site and that error should go away.

Thanks Ray. I'll stop trying to pull my hair out getting the old one to work.

I, too, am having a time getting DataBridge installed. I've gotten the DMXzone extension manager working and am able to select the WADataBridge123.zxp file that I downloaded from my Downloads area and it appears in the DMXzone extension manager window. But, when I run DW and try to use DataBridge pages I get a weird looking alert (attached). The other thing that seems odd is that the WADataBridge123.zxp file that I downloaded was only 526kb. Seems small for what it does. Is that correct?

I think I just got off the phone with you. The installation had worked properly you just had to open dreamweaver and open any page to trigger the secondary installer.

That was me. Thanks, Ray. For the record, I had to open and close DW a few more times before I saw the WA installer window (attachment). I wasn't done yet, however. I then had to open and close DW a few more times before any of the WA menu items would even respond. I'm now well into a DataAssist User Administration wizard and all seems to be working as it should.
