How do I get the computer to recognize a cart from my other computer?

The company recently purchased another computer for me to use. I've downloaded E-Cart 5 onto the new computer. How do I get E-Cart 5 to recognize the my past cart from the other computer?

Thanks...Supreme Geek

Just download the WA_eCart folder from the old site into the local root directory on the new computer.

The WA_ECart folder is already there from the old computer.

I had already transferred the website from the old computer and imported the website into the new computer in Dreamweaver. Then I downloaded E-Cart from my Web Assist account. When I tried to add a button to a page that I created, got a message that there was no cart. So, what do I do now?
Thanks

Make sure you have a page open from the site and the site has the WA_eCart folder and files in it. That should be all it would need.

Ray,
I have a page open from the website. I tried to insert an add to cart button. I get the following message: "No Cart objects are available for this site. Please make sure that you have defined a site and have at least one cart object available." I have the WA_eCart folder in the same spot on the old computer and it works fine. It's probably something simple eh? I just can't see it right now.
Thanks,

It isn't in a sub directory? Right in the root?

Go to the cart object and create a new cart object. See what folder it gets created in.

Ray,
It created the WA_eCart in the root directory. What do I do next?
Thanks

That is what it should do... The WA_eCart, Connections, and Templates folder all need to be in the root directory of the defined site for Dreamweaver to recognize them. You will need to update your site definition and make sure the site root folder is defined as the folder that has the WA_eCart in its root and then everything should start working correctly.
