I am using the default design, but want to change the middle pod to have a product like pod 1 and pod 3. How do I accomplish this?

The middle pod is "About Us" and allows me to change the text, but how do I get it to be just like the left and right pods with a product name , price and photo?

You could copy the html from one of those pads and put it into the editor directly. If you want it truly product driven, then it would be possible to maybe copy one of the other pod's code and create a derivative. This is something we could help with in a premier support ticket.

Could you tell me the filename for the html for the center pod? I can find the popularbox.php and featuredbox.php files for the left and right pods, but I can't figure out where the html file is for the center "about us" pod (aboutus.php is a totally different page)

The center pod doesn't have an html page. It is driven by an editable content region through the CMS.
