Emergency: Web Pages **%$#@ Up

Help :(

Sub Category Pages Showing Data from other pages: http://ginelectronics.com/categories/in-wall-ceiling-speakers/ja-audio-in-wall-speakers

In fact, now that I look further, all pages except my custom pages are showing a variation of the page I am on and my custom page http://ginelectronics.com/speaker-wire blended together. Just a mess and you can't read anything- let alone make a purchase.

Please Help :/

It looks like you edited the side navigation content area and updated it to have a full page of content. Since that nav is on the left side of every page, the content overlapped into the other pages.

I updated the side nav editable region and removed the overlapping content. I'm not sure where that content was intended to show, but you shouldn't put it it the side nav area if it is intended for a particular page (because it will show on every page instead).

Emergency: Web Pages **%$#@ Up

Hey

Sorry- that is over my head. I do not use your side-bar and created my own, and I had not messed with that. Maybe the people doing some SEO work for me messed with something? All I did was change a few page names that day and update the links from my custom pages. Could I have accidently edited the side navigation doing that? I just ant to know if my SEO people messed with something or if I did. As stated, ALL I did was change a few page names and update the links on my custom pages that I built myself...

I'm thinking it must have been the SEO people. There was a ton of content added to that area. Changing page names isn't the issue. It looked like a full page of content added to the side nav area. I'm thinking it must have been the SEO people trying to edit content on a particular page that put the content into the wrong spot.

Thanks Again for the Reply.

SEO people deny everything- in fact if it wasn't them, all they have been doing is charging me money for nothing. Hence, I can't see why anyone would hack us and then only add content, which has me wondering what I would do if someone got in and deleted everything. Do you have a back up system that customers can recall sites from a particular date?

We do daily and weekly backups so we could restore it. However there is no way it was a hack because it was intelligently written content about your products with your product images and links. I hacker wouldn't do that. Somebody thought they were editing content on your page constructively and accidentally edited the wrong area. It was definitely someone trying to create or edit a page to improve your sales, not a malicious attempt at anything.
